The Gospel of Jesus Christ

There is no greater message than the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from a holy God and leads to eternal death. But God, in His incredible love, made a way for us to be forgiven and restored.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly went to the cross. There, He bore our sins and took the punishment we deserved. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

On the third day, Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death and proving that He is the Savior of the world. His resurrection offers us hope, victory, and the promise of eternal life.
Salvation is not earned by good works or religious rituals. It is a gift received by faith.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9–10
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

"Declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord'"

It means openly confessing and acknowledging that Jesus is not just a good teacher or prophet, but the Lord—God in human form and the rightful ruler of your life.

It's not merely words, but a declaration of surrender and allegiance to Jesus as King.

"Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead"

Believing in Jesus’ resurrection is central to the Christian faith. It confirms His identity as the Son of God and Savior—and it's more than an intellectual agreement. It’s a personal trust that His death and resurrection are enough to forgive your sins and give you new life.

"You will be saved"

Salvation here means being rescued from the penalty of sin (eternal separation from God) and being given new, eternal life in Christ.

It’s a promise—sure and certain. If you genuinely believe and confess, God assures you of salvation.

"With your heart you believe and are justified"

“Justified” means being made right with God. This happens the moment you truly believe in Jesus.

"With your mouth you profess your faith and are saved"

Verbal confession confirms the inward change. It shows that faith is alive and real, not hidden or ashamed.

Romans 10:9–10 teaches that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ—believing in His resurrection and confessing Him as Lord. It's not about works or religious performance, but about a sincere trust in God's saving grace and a public commitment to follow Jesus.

If you truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that He died for your sins on the cross and was raised from the dead and sits at the right hand of the Father, _then the Bible says you are now a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). You’ve been adopted into God’s family! Begin to grow in your faith by reading the Bible, praying, connecting with a Bible-believing church, and sharing your story.
